Sign up nowWe are designers for life. Not only of websites and apps that make you happy while lounging on your couch, but also of applications for the workplace. Think of intranets, digitally streamlining work processes, and implementing business software. Sounds very corporate and abstract, doesn’t it? It’s not. After all, employees are people too, and not every user is a consumer. We also love to make the working world a bit more beautiful. Better. More inclusive. More profitable. We are enthusiasts of Enterprise UX

Sign up nowHannah Pak is a passionate UX designer working at PostNL through Informaat. She is responsible for the app that helps employees, who often do their rounds alone, easily find each other. She gets excited when people say, ‘that’s just how things are done.’ By asking the right questions, she discovers that things can actually be done better and more easily. 'This leads to happier employees and, ultimately, happier customers.' Hannah is a designer for life, and that includes the workplace.
Iris van Looij is a UX designer working at PostNL through Informaat. She designs an app that allows delivery drivers, who do their rounds alone, to still feel a sense of belonging. Her challenge is finding the right balance between functionality and simplicity. 'We support important business processes and build long-lasting relationships,' Iris explains. How the app looks is less important. 'The focus is on usability and ease. Simple functions for difficult work.' Iris is a designer for life, and that includes the workplace.
Rien Buisman is an interaction designer working at DPG Media through Informaat. There, he optimizes the UX of the editorial system—a fun and complex task. 'What looks good on paper often works differently in reality,' Rien explains. 'It's great to really connect with employees so that what the head office envisions also works well for colleagues.' Rien is a designer for life, and that includes the workplace.
Justin Straver is an interaction designer working at ING through Informaat. There, he deals with a high level of expertise, while what he designs must be as simple as possible. A great challenge. He also sees it as his professional duty to ensure that the value of employees is reflected throughout the entire process. 'I see employees as crucial ambassadors of products and services. Enterprise UX fosters sustainable growth for a company, from within.' Justin is a designer for life, and that includes the workplace.
Joëlle van Schaik is an experienced designer working at NS through Informaat. She is responsible for the interaction design of, among other things, the app for technicians. She loves the challenge of making complex work processes user-friendly in interfaces that employees enjoy working with. This requires a lot of research, knowledge, and empathy, which keeps her on her toes. Joëlle is a designer for life, and that includes the workplace.
